House-sitting in Burien

i'll be house-sitting in burien for the next week. yes, i know, burien is out in "boonie land", but i think it's kinda cool. i'm kinda thinking of it as my own little personal retreat.

this house has a great view of the puget sound with nice comfy recliner chairs to just sit and enjoy the view. or, if i want, there are also lawn chairs on a little deck so i can enjoy the sun AND view! and after i've enjoyed admiring God's creation, i can head downstairs to catch up on my west wing episodes on a 54 inch tv! Sweet! the only downside to staying here is that the computer is still on a dial-up connection. this will surely make me appreciate my broadband connection when i go back home.

hopefully, being away from my room/house and all of its distractions, i'll be able to finish updating my resume and spend more time praying and thinking about which direction to go in next. only time will tell...
